The reality of war between Russia and Ukraine is contrary to a whole set of guarantee systems that emerged after 1948 through the United Nations Charter, a pact for peace. At the same time, in addition to violating the UN Charter, the invasion implies a breach of the international system for the protection of human rights in almost all its aspects. The future of the war, and its consequences, depends on new strategies and remodeling, perhaps on the international law that demands, but does not control, in concrete terms, what is agreed by the member countries.
