In the last decades, the issue of including people with special educational needs and respect for Human Rights has been widely discussed in the most diverse spheres of society, however this debate takes on an even more specific relevance in the educational sphere. The school must take inclusive education as one of its fundamental principles, contributing to the formation of the moral and social principles of individuals, guaranteeing equality, non-discrimination and quality education for all individuals. This is also one of UNESCO's Sustainable Development Goals. In the context of the SARS-CoV-2 Pandemic, higher education institutions have seen their teaching methodologies substantially changed and the needs to support students have also been the focus of attention and new guidance from institutions. Hence, we will analyze data from the survey carried out on the satisfaction of teachers / students during the Pandemic period, as well as data on Portuguese Higher Education Institutions with specific support services for students with special educational needs.
